Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and implementation priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations on future technology trajectories
- Design innovation frameworks for sustainable competitive advantage in 2026+ markets
- Partner with R&D to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts affecting long-term strategic positioning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for tech companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their market implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and boards of directors
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (required)
