Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technology trends, consumer behaviors, and market disruptions through 2026-2030 horizon scanning
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for enterprise innovation initiatives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable future-state blueprints
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing product concepts
- Present executive-level strategic briefings translating foresight into investment priorities
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist thought leaders and innovation partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trend analysis
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex futures
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS) required
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-shaping initiatives implemented
