Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory landscapes, and consumer behavior patterns to forecast 2026 market opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies including quantum computing, biotech, and AI ethics
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-focused initiatives
- Author annual '2026 Horizon Report' detailing technology adoption curves and risk mitigation strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for cutting-edge research
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology roadmapping
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology journals
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFS) strongly preferred
