Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Identify market disruptions and competitive threats through trend analysis and scenario planning
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies
- Oversee R&D initiatives with 5+ year horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of implementing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging tech trends (AI, blockchain, sustainable tech)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning abilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Strong background in innovation frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP, AFP)
