Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technological trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital teams
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Partner with academic institutions to establish 2026 research priorities
- Build patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies in development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- PhD or equivalent in emerging technologies, systems thinking, or foresight methodology
- Published research in Nature, Science, or similar tier-1 journals
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or space tech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, or equivalent innovation bodies
