- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to build next-gen solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge innovation
- Create predictive models for tech adoption impacts across healthcare, energy, and mobility sectors
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite executives and board stakeholders with actionable implementation plans
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling ROI projections and innovation case studies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 10+ years in tech innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market horizons (e.g., blockchain 2018, generative AI 2020)
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or spatial computing
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar top-tier tech publications
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, CHIPS Act, etc.)
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio of at least two commercialized technologies with $50M+ market impact
