Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ tech trends including AGI, bio-integrated interfaces, and climate tech convergence
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for emerging tech adoption (quantum-resistant cryptography, synthetic biology integration)
- Facilitate C-level strategic workshops on technology's societal and business implications
- Build innovation ecosystems through academic partnerships and startup collaborations
- Translate technical possibilities into commercial opportunities with 18-24 month execution horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or climate tech
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption with documented accuracy (case studies required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership on technological singularity implications (IEEE, Nature, or equivalent)
- Experience building innovation pipelines with $5M+ budgets
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
