Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive trends in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions using agile methodologies and design thinking frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to anticipate market shifts and patent opportunities
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and board members on emerging technology implications
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships with research institutions
- Manage R&D budget allocation for 2026 initiatives, ensuring ROI on experimental technologies
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers in exponential thinking and innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership, with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching products with exponential growth potential (>$100M ARR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation management
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
