Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends and market disruptions to inform 2026 product roadmaps
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in AI, IoT, and sustainable tech
- Develop patentable innovations and intellectual property strategies
- Present futuristic technology blueprints to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Build strategic alliances with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an experimental innovation culture
- Produce horizon scanning reports and technology impact assessments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech R&D with 3+ years in strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough commercial technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or similar fields
