- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Present strategic tech forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Develop patent portfolios for next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic labs and global tech incubators
- Drive innovation sprints focused on 2026 sustainability mandates
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in horizon scanning
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership on technology futures (TED Talks, peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for long-term innovation
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
