Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping 3-5 year technology horizons across AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Develop patent-worthy innovation frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Champion cross-functional R&D sprints with MIT and Stanford research partners
- Author thought leadership publications for IEEE and Nature journals
- Architect ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor a 15-person futurist lab through quarterly tech scenario planning
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or equivalent)
- Proven track record of scaling exponential technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in systems thinking and complex adaptive modeling
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of convergent tech ethics (UNESCO AI ethics certification preferred)
