Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology vision aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Identify and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR) with high commercial potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive adoption of emerging tech through internal education and external thought leadership
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or advanced robotics ecosystems
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to articulate complex futures
- Experience managing high-budget R&D initiatives ($3M+)
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight or innovation
