Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with $10M+ annual R&D budget
- Forecast industry disruptions and create strategic mitigation/adaptation frameworks
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and other future-focused institutions
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology ethics and governance
- Author white papers on 2026 technology trends for industry publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from concept to commercial deployment
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published author in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or IEEE Spectrum)
- Experience securing $5M+ in government or corporate innovation grants
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, and leading VC firms
