Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI-driven autonomous systems and quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, UX, and business strategy teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, spatial computing)
- Present strategic forecasts to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for AI deployment and human-AI collaboration
- Drive patent development for proprietary 2026-era technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or tech ethics (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and predictive analytics
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology foresight projects
