Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology foresight strategies aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Analyze global tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) for competitive advantage
- Author white papers on future tech ethics and regulatory frameworks
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on future roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in IEEE, Nature, or similar tier-1 journals
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology transition planning
- Fluency in strategic forecasting tools (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Clearance for government tech initiatives preferred
