Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026 horizon) and assess commercial viability through market research and competitive intelligence
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present futuristic technology visions to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early-stage innovation access
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing methodologies and adaptive thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced biotech, or climate tech
- Certification in Futures Thinking, Technology Foresight, or equivalent strategic planning
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience building innovation pipelines with measurable ROI metrics
- Published thought leadership in technology trend analysis or futurism
- MSc/PhD in relevant technical field or equivalent demonstrable expertise
