Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI, quantum, and sustainable solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor R&D teams in future-proof technology development methodologies
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ in future-tech domains
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation management
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D grants or partnerships
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Certification in technology forecasting or innovation management (e.g., CFIP)
