Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Architecture: Design and deploy scalable IT infrastructure to support high-traffic events, including stadium connectivity and mobile networks.
- AI & Data Integration: Lead the implementation of AI-driven tools for fan engagement, real-time scoring, and predictive analytics.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to rigorous FIFA and US government security standards, protecting sensitive data and fan privacy.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stadium operators, broadcasters, and government bodies to align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
- Innovation Roadmap: Identify emerging technologies (e.g., AR/VR, 5G) to enhance the spectator experience for the 2026 tournament.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in IT architecture, systems engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Python/Go.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional projects under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
