Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous AI systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops with AI engineers to embed ethical-by-design principles
- Author position papers on AI accountability for regulatory bodies and industry consortiums
- Monitor emerging AI risks through horizon scanning and predictive ethics modeling
- Design human-AI interaction protocols ensuring transparency and user agency
- Represent the company at global AI ethics summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing AI governance frameworks or algorithmic accountability systems
- Expertise in fairness metrics, bias mitigation, and explainable AI techniques
- Deep understanding of emerging AI risks (quantum computing, synthetic media, autonomous systems)
- Proven track authoring influential policy papers or technical standards
- Experience collaborating with regulatory bodies (FTC, NIST, EU AI Board)
- Strong background in moral philosophy frameworks (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics)
- Public speaking experience at international AI ethics conferences
