Responsibilities
- Develop ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits on machine learning models using fairness metrics
- Design compliance protocols for EU AI Act and evolving US regulations
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering teams
- Create transparency documentation for high-stakes AI deployments
- Advise on ethical AI adoption in regulated industries (healthcare, finance)
- Monitor emerging AI ethics standards and update policies quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years in AI governance or compliance technology
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, or related field
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM, or equivalent)
- Experience with bias mitigation frameworks (AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Deep understanding of GDPR, EU AI Act, and NIST AI RMF
- Published research on algorithmic accountability preferred
- Proficiency in Python for bias analysis
- Experience advising C-suite on AI risk management
