Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and generative models
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Design ethical review protocols for high-impact AI deployments in healthcare and finance
- Create stakeholder engagement strategies for public-private AI governance coalitions
- Establish regulatory compliance standards for next-gen AI technologies
- Author thought leadership on AI ethics for industry conferences and policy forums
- Mentor teams on responsible AI development practices and ethical decision-making
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with AI focus
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, policy development, or ethics frameworks
- Expertise in regulatory compliance (GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Proven track record publishing AI ethics research or industry guidelines
- Deep understanding of ML model auditing tools and bias mitigation techniques
- Experience collaborating with policymakers and international standards bodies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts
- Preferred: Background in deploying ethical AI at scale (Fortune 500 experience)
