Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for high-stakes AI systems across healthcare, finance, and autonomous sectors
- Lead cross-functional working groups to integrate ethical considerations into AI development lifecycles
- Develop real-time monitoring systems for algorithmic fairness and transparency in production environments
- Create policy blueprints for responsible AI deployment, including incident response protocols
- Advocate for ethical AI principles at industry conferences and regulatory forums
- Mentor engineering teams on responsible AI development practices through workshops and documentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field with 5+ years in AI governance
- Proven expertise in developing AI ethics frameworks for enterprise-scale deployments
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, California Consumer Privacy Act)
- Experience conducting algorithmic bias assessments using fairness metrics and adversarial testing
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research or practical experience in AI explainability and transparency methods
- Professional certifications in AI ethics or data governance (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) preferred
