Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST guidelines, and emerging 2026 regulations
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for ML models using advanced analytical tools
- Lead cross-functional working groups to embed ethical considerations into AI product roadmaps
- Design and maintain transparency mechanisms for high-stakes AI decision systems
- Proactively identify emerging ethical risks in generative AI and autonomous systems
- Create stakeholder communication materials explaining AI ethics principles and compliance requirements
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to navigate evolving regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, Law, or related field with 3+ years of AI ethics experience
- Deep expertise in AI fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT) frameworks
- Proficiency with bias detection tools (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Experience developing organizational AI ethics policies and governance structures
- Strong understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, US Blueprint for AI Bill of Rights)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published work or speaking engagements on AI ethics or responsible innovation
- Experience with impact assessments for autonomous systems or generative AI
