Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and governance policies for emerging technologies
- Conduct risk assessments for AI deployments across product lifecycles
- Advocate for ethical AI design principles in engineering and product development
- Monitor global regulatory developments (EU AI Act, US legislation, etc.) and adapt strategies
- Train stakeholders on responsible AI practices and compliance requirements
- Lead stakeholder engagement with policymakers, industry groups, and ethics boards
- Establish audit mechanisms for AI system fairness, transparency, and accountability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in AI Ethics, Technology Policy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, regulatory affairs, or ethics compliance
- Expertise in global AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI standards in production systems
- Strong understanding of ML model fairness, bias mitigation, and explainability techniques
- Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management in tech environments
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics or policy preferred
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM) highly desirable
