Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic bias and fairness metrics
- Develop predictive risk models for emerging AI capabilities (2026-2030 horizon)
- Partner with policy teams to shape international AI safety regulations
- Conduct scenario planning for existential risk mitigation in autonomous systems
- Establish transparency protocols for explainable AI deployments
- Mentor junior researchers in responsible AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, policy development, or ethics compliance
- Published work on algorithmic bias or existential risk assessment
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Experience with quantum computing principles and AI/ML architectures
- Strong background in cross-cultural ethical frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable policies
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
