Responsibilities
- Develop ethical frameworks for generative AI and autonomous decision systems
- Conduct bias audits for machine learning models deployed in critical infrastructure
- Partner with quantum computing teams to address ethical implications of quantum AI
- Design real-time ethics monitoring dashboards for deployed AI systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops on neuro-ethical implications of brain-AI interfaces
- Author position papers on AI governance for regulatory bodies and industry coalitions
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, policy development, or ethics compliance
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Framework, and emerging global regulations
- Proficiency with bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM Fairness 360)
- Published work on AI ethics or technology ethics in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with federated learning and differential privacy techniques
- Strong background in risk assessment methodologies for complex systems
- Certification in AI Ethics or Responsible AI (e.g., Stanford HAI, DeepMind)
