Our Austin-based innovation hub offers unparalleled resources including quantum computing labs, neuro-interface development suites, and a dedicated futures research division. This position reports directly to our Chief Innovation Officer and includes executive stakeholder engagement with Fortune 500 partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for AI evolution through 2030 using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Lead strategic technology roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence initiatives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging biotech-cybernetics integration opportunities
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for experimental technology prototyping
- Coordinate with MIT Media Lab and Future Institute on collaborative research
Qualifications
- PhD in AI, Cognitive Science, or Futurist Studies with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals on AI ethics or technology forecasting
- Proven track record leading quantum computing or neuro-technology projects
- Deep understanding of singularity theory and exponential technology curves
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CFP) or equivalent methodology training
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on technology disruption scenarios
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three commercialized future-tech innovations
