Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research in quantum neural networks and post-classical AI architectures
- Develop novel algorithms for autonomous decision-making systems with zero-shot learning capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement research findings into production-scale solutions
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from federal and private institutions
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in advanced machine learning methodologies
- Contribute to ethical AI frameworks ensuring responsible deployment of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Published record in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or journals
- Expertise in quantum computing principles and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical research into practical applications
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing and GPU/TPU optimization
- Strong background in neuroscience-inspired AI architectures (e.g., spiking neural networks)
- Proven track record of securing research funding and managing complex projects
