Responsibilities
- Design and implement cutting-edge AI algorithms for natural language processing and computer vision
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neural-symbolic integration
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Mentor PhD researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Develop ethical AI frameworks aligned with IEEE and EU standards
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Machine Learning from Tier 1 institution
- 5+ years of applied research experience with TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Published work at NeurIPS/ICML/AAAI with >500 citations
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and diffusion models
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and Rust
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary research teams
- Experience securing federal research grants
