Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI algorithms for next-generation autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional research projects in quantum machine learning and neural architecture optimization
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI deployment in regulated industries (healthcare, finance)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design AI-optimized quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in emerging AI domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published record in top-tier ML/AI conferences (h-index >15)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and differential privacy
- Proficiency with PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks
