Responsibilities
- Provide personalized daily living assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while respecting the client's dignity.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Offer engaging companionship and participate in activities to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional health to the Case Manager.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community events as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; CNA or HHA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various care needs.
