Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide personal hygiene support such as toileting and incontinence care.
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being and report changes to supervisors.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and accompany them on walks.
- Administer medication and follow doctor’s orders as instructed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
