Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and document vital signs accurately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and loneliness.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and errands.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings.
- Monitor client well-being and communicate any changes in health to the nursing supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA, PCA, or HHA certification is a plus but not strictly required for immediate hire.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist clients as needed.
