As a Caregiver, you will provide exceptional personal care and companionship to clients in their homes, ensuring they maintain the highest quality of life while promoting their independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients adhere to their prescribed schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience in home health or elderly care is a plus.
- Must be patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented.
