Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce loneliness and improve mental health.
- Remind clients to take medications at scheduled times.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the Case Manager immediately.
- Assist with light errands and transportation as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA or HHA certification is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
