Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Assist with mobility, including transfers and walking assistance.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily logs accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification preferred but not always required for entry-level.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
