Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes to the care coordinator.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and light exercise to promote mental well-being.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a safe and clean living environment for the client.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or Personal Care Assistant is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for caregiving and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
