Job Summary:

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry and cleaning living spaces.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, or social events.
- Document daily care logs and report any changes in client condition to the care manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a state and national background check.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare is preferred but not mandatory.
