Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure proper adherence to care plans.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe environment.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments or errands.
- Monitor physical and emotional well-being, reporting changes to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or PCA is a plus.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient dignity.
