Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and document care records accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry specific to client care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed.
Qualifications
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) license is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
