Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Administer medication according to physician orders and established care plans.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA, HHA, or PCA certification is strongly preferred but not strictly required for the right candidate.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must demonstrate patience, compassion, and a professional demeanor.
