Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure dignity and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to specific dietary needs.
- Administer medication and track vital signs accurately as trained.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature is essential.
