Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a safe living environment.
- Administer medications and remind clients of doctor's appointments as directed.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments or social events.
- Monitor the client's physical and emotional condition and report any changes to the care manager.
- Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs and preferences of each client.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Previous experience in home health, elderly care, or personal assistance is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
