Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry as assigned.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to improve the quality of life for seniors and those with disabilities.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes, injuries, or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands using your personal vehicle.
- Document care plans, daily logs, and any changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is strongly preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screen.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
