Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning.
- Remind clients to take medication at prescribed times.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required for most positions).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory (training provided).
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic personality.
