Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor client health status in accordance with care plans.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and errands as needed.
- Document daily care activities and changes in client condition accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Current, valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- CNA, HHA, or PCA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
