Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Administer medications and immunizations following clinical protocols
- Perform vital sign checks and document electronic health records accurately
- Schedule appointments and maintain organized patient flow
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
- Assist with sterilization of medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active CMA certification or equivalent medical assistant credential
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
