Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital sign measurements, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and minor surgical preparations
- Manage patient records and maintain electronic health systems (EHR)
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active CMA (AAMA) or RMA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
