Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital sign measurement and medical history documentation
- Assist providers during clinical procedures with precision and professionalism
- Administer injections, medications, and perform ECGs under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (Epic EMR) and inventory management
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient or urgent care setting
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification with current renewal
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume environments
- Washington State MA certification in good standing
- Associate's degree or certificate from accredited program
