Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, patient intakes, and health histories.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by providers.
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory specimen collection.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Coordinate patient referrals and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Ensure the examination rooms are sanitized and stocked.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or clinic setting.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
